It is important to take measures in advance to eliminate the swelling on your gums before they cause further health complication. One of the remedies that is used to treating these infections is application of a mixture of both olive oil and some clove oil. Owing to its anti-inflammation effect and nature, it is able to heal these inflammations.

Another therapy for the infection is application of lemon water to the infected part of your gums. Since fresh lemons contains a number of nutrients such as Vitamin C, potassium, Calcium and some amounts of pectin fiber, it is deemed as one of the most appropriate remedy for this disease. Owing to the fine antibacterial nature, it has the ability to treat the disease.

Another form of remedy t these swelling is use of salt water. Infected person is supposed to rinse his or her mouth several times in a day. In fact, this is one of the most effective and widely used remedy. It use dates back to olden days and it has still in use to date. Solution of water and salt is believed it be a disinfectant and it assists in getting rid of microbes in mouth, which causes these inflammations.

In addition, an individual can opt to use Aloe Vera. Medical research has shown that Aloe Vera is very effective in healing periodontal disease. Due to its antioxidant, antifungal and ant-inflammatory nature, it is usually in position to eliminate these diseases effectively.
