This is a condition affected the surrounding soft tissues and the navicular bone. Appropriate attention should be taken to address the issue.

This condition is often considered a disease in horses than on ponies or other breeds. This is vastly common for animals that are considered to be thoroughbred as well or have certain characteristics that are considered to be thoroughbred like. For instance, they might have long toes, and low, collapsed heels.

An animal that has this condition can be noted on its mild forelimb lameness. This can be intermittent to especially since there are cases when it may appear not just in one leg, but in different ones at different times. Often, treating the condition with anti-inflammatories and rest will help address it. But it can recur.

Imaging shots need to be taken though once it has been confirmed that the lameness of indeed coming from the horse's legs. An x-ray image is taken on the area were it is suspected that the condition is present. This allows professionals to successfully ascertain the extent of the condition and what treatments to try out.

Know that there are several options that you can choose to take advantage of as far as getting the condition treated, you would want to use this chance to find the right people that can be trusted to help your horse get back into its top shape again.
